"Honestly, I am getting so much out of this class. I feel like it is teacher therapy as it is causing me to truly think deeply about these concepts and how my reactions are a way of my brain processing. I feel as though I am able to take a step back and let things wash over me rather than eat away at me and in that way I feel calmer in my chaotic classroom. I'm truly grateful I literally stumbled over this course a few weeks ago and hope to sign up for more."

"This workshop has been so great for my work, as my job is ultimately to work with students to shift them out of negative, self-sabotaging mindsets. Being able to name our reactions and internal dialogues, such as part X, saboteurs, limbic brain, etc. is going to be especially useful, as a work with students to help them describe their reactions!"

*This is the course based on the book.

We, and our students, would all be happier and more productive if we learned techniques to reprogram our own brains, to be able at will to change from an uncomfortable limiting mindset to one that is enjoyable, resourceful, and resilient. That’s why we all need to learn to MindShift.

Unlock your full potential and develop invaluable life skills not only for your students but also for yourself. This transformative workshop emphasizes creative thinking, critical thinking, recovering from fight/flight/freeze response, and recognizing when we are reacting instead of thoughtfully responding.

Mindshifting:
Flexible Mindsets for Long Term Success
(6 Sessions)

course_Flexible Mindsets.png

How many times do we or our students approach a situation thinking that there is one right way to act, and if we do that, the problem will be solved? And then we are disappointed when others disagree or when our efforts do not work out the way we hoped?

Flexible mindsets focuses on how we perceive and react to different situations, and how to prepare for long term success even if our first efforts might not succeed.

This course will provide educators and students a framework for assessing problems and opportunities, coming up with solutions, listening to how other people are framing situations, and choosing what to do next in order to start and continue down a productive path.

Mindshifting: Conflict and Collaboration
(6 sessions)

course_collaboration.png

Most of the problems and opportunities we encounter involve other people.  Sometimes people disagree with us, sometimes they oppose us. Success is often all about shifting mindsets.

As educators, we are interested in the ultimate success of our students, and yet, ironically they often resist our efforts. This course will cover a wide range of techniques educators can use to motivate students to learn, and also techniques to coach students on constructive methods of conflict resolution, including techniques to motivate others and prepare them to collaborate for ultimate success.

We can learn to be resourceful in a world with misinformation, divisiveness, competition, and adversity.
